The Process


If you are experiencing a problem with your Nord keyboard, you can take it to any of the service centers below for repair. If it has been less than a year from the date of retail purchase, you are entitled to have the unit worked on for free under warranty. Please see our Registration page for a description of the warranty.

Do not attempt to repair or open your keyboard if it is under warranty. Doing so will void the warranty, and any repairs that need to be done will be the responsibility of the purchaser. If you need any assistance, please contact Nord USA with a description of your problem by filling out the form at the Support page.

Before consulting Nord USA for help, it is highly recommended that you attempt to upgrade or re-install the Operating System of your keyboard first. If it is a software issue, such an upgrade will take care of it. If the upgrade did not take care of your problem, and it has been determined that you need service, please follow the directions below:

1. Find a copy of your sales receipt - you will need it as a proof of purchase. If you do not have a copy available, contact your dealer and they should be able to provide a copy. The receipt must show date of purchase, model number, serial number, and if possible your name. Present this to the service center when you check your keyboard in.

2. If you must ship your keyboard away, pack up your keyboard in a manner that minimizes the risk of shipping damage.

3. Contact the service center and let them know that you are shipping your keyboard to them. They may require that you obtain a Return Authorization number from them. You do not need one from Nord USA, though.

4. Make sure you pack your sales receipt, as well as a written copy of the keyboard's problem, along with the keyboard.

What is covered under warranty:

- The cost of parts and labor required to repair an issue directly related to manufacturer defect.

What is not covered under warranty:

- Freight charges to & from the service center.
- Expedited services offered by the service center.
